Basketball Game Preview: Hugo Buffaloes vs. Broken Bow Savages

Hugo hasn't had much luck against Broken Bow recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Buffaloes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Savages at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Hugo lost to Valliant at home by a 47-33 margin. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 56th).

Meanwhile, Broken Bow was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 55-50 to Dale. The loss was the Savages' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Broken Bow fell to 12-1. As for Hugo, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
