Millbrook had a senior duo take command as Joshua Bowen posted 13 points and five rebounds and Ashton King had 19 points and three steals. The game was King's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Conti, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points and five boards.
Meanwhile, Rolesville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Triton by a score of 75-62 back in December of 2024.
Rolesville's win came from a few key players Millbrook will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caiden Jenkins, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Roberts, Jr, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points and eight rebounds.
Rolesville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.
Millbrook pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Rolesville, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Millbrook has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Rolesville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
