Baseball Game Preview: Hickory Red Tornadoes vs. North Lincoln Knights

For the second straight game, Hickory will face off against North Lincoln. The Red Tornadoes will be playing at home against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Hickory came up short against North Lincoln and fell 10-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Tornadoes in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

The win (which was North Lincoln's fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Hickory, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
