Basketball Recap: Madison Central Comes Up Short

Madison Central was the 52-44 winner over Conner when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Saturday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Central's record now sits at 2-11. As for Conner, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Madison Central and Conner could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Indians will take on Western Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (200 vs. 45). Meanwhile, Conner (ranked 202nd) will meet Simon Kenton (ranked first) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
