Football Recap: Doniphan-Trumbull Triumphs

Doniphan-Trumbull got themselves on the board against Cross County on Friday, but Cross County never followed suit. They walked away with a 12-0 victory over the Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Doniphan-Trumbull's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cross County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Doniphan-Trumbull and Cross County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cardinals are set to face off against their familiar foe Gibbon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cross County will square off against rival Boone Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
