Softball Recap: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Norwood Indians

Walnut Hills scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against the Norwood Indians by a score of 20-16. The victory was some much needed relief for Walnut Hills as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Walnut Hills got a massive performance out of Chloe Dollar, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kendra Sullivan, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Walnut Hills' win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-20. As for Norwood, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Walnut Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norwood, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Cincinnati Country Day at 5:00 p.m.
