Volleyball Recap: Warren Township Comes Up Short

Warren Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hersey Huskies. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Huskies when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15.

Shayla Ray paced Warren Township's offense, picking up three kills. Ray got some help from Lyla Christensen and her four assists.

Warren Township's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Hersey, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-9.

Looking ahead, Warren Township will take on Stevenson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hersey, they will challenge Barrington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Fillies/Broncos have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
