Baseball Preview: Lakeside Dragons vs. Geneva Eagles

For the first time this season, Lakeside will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Geneva Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Geneva took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeside, who comes in off a win.

Lakeside is headed out to face Geneva after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Dragons came out on top against Harvey by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday.

Anthony Wooten made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). Wooten was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
