River Valley can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Prairie du Chien. That's more bragging rights for River Valley, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

River Valley's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Prairie du Chien, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will challenge Sauk Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Prairie du Chien, they will face off against Iowa-Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
