Volleyball Recap: East Mecklenburg Triumphs + How To Watch

East Mecklenburg proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Palisades Pumas 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now won four in a row.

East Mecklenburg took Palisades into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-11, 21-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Riley Ketterhagen went supernova, getting 28 digs and five assists. Those 28 digs gave her a new career-high. Jessica Davis also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

East Mecklenburg's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Palisades, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

East Mecklenburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Ardrey Kell on the 15th. Palisades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
