Basketball Recap: Weldon Chargers vs. North Duplin Rebels

Weldon and North Duplin squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Weldon had to settle for second. They were dealt a 59-20 loss at the hands of the North Duplin Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Rebels are ranked 182nd).

North Duplin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addy Higginbotham out in front who posted 11 points along with five assists and four steals.
