Basketball Game Preview: Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders vs. St. Bede Bruins

The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the St. Bede Bruins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ashton-Franklin Center has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 20.

Ashton-Franklin Center is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Fulton on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ashton-Franklin Center lost 64-43 to Fulton. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Brock Lehman, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Thomas, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, St. Bede came up short against Dwight on Friday and fell 81-74. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Bede's defeat dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, their loss dropped their record down to 7-24.
