Spackenkill extended their losing streak  to five  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They lost  34-10 to the Dover Dragons. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Logan Amos threw for 83 yards and one  TD.   Joshua Bodrick was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and one  score.  On the ground,  Jacob Brandenburg rushed for 109 yards.
As for Dover, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 37.0 points over those games.
 Dover was led to victory by  Conor Drnek and  Matt Ogana.  Drnek rushed for 156 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, while  Ogana rushed for 110 yards and a pair of  scores. Drnek has become a key player for the Dragons: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  100  rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.  Vinny Colombo made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spackenkill will face off against Liberty at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Redhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.14  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dover, they will take on Monticello at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Dragons will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.14  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
