It was a good run, but Morgantown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Oakland Catholic, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mohigans have suffered since October 12, 2024.

While Morgantown ultimately came up short, they really made Oakland Catholic work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20, 25-21.

Morgantown's loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Morgantown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Trinity Christian on the 4th. As for Oakland Catholic, they will face off against Montour at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
