Basketball Recap: Grant Park Comes Up Short

Grant Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Tri-Valley Vikings and fell 70-24.

When it comes to explaining why Grant Park lost, don't look at Ka'Shawn Sherrod. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points.

Grant Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Grant Park and Tri-Valley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Dragons are set to face off against their familiar foe Beecher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tri-Valley will challenge rival Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
