After losing to Upland the last time they met, Chino decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cowboys walked away with a 13-6 win over the Highlanders/Scots on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chino to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angelina (Sophia) Gamboa, who threw for 121 yards and one TD, and also punched in one rushing score.

Chino didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of London Gibbs and Rylee Valenzuela.

Chino's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Upland, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3.

Chino wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 loss against Eagle Rock on the 13th. As for Upland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 47-25 win against Patriot on the 9th.
