Soccer Recap: Carolina International Comes Up Short

Carolina International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mountain Island Charter Raptors, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Carolina International can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 490th, while Mountain Island Charter are ranked 206th).

Carolina International's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mountain Island Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carolina International will square off against rival Queen's Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mountain Island Charter is set to take on their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
