Basketball Recap: Lyons Lions vs. Platte Canyon Huskies
Lyons's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 23-21 win over the Platte Canyon Huskies.

Lyons found their leader in sophomore Leora Hagan, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Hagan has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyons and The Pinnacle will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Platte Canyon will take on St. Mary's Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
