Westview and Sunset are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Wildcats will square off against the Apollos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Westview was beaten by Jesuit 35-7. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sunset played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Mountainside and fell 56-20. The Apollos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Sunset, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Westview beat Sunset 35-28 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
