Basketball Recap: Kalkaska Comes Up Short

Kalkaska lost against Cheboygan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Kalkaska Blazers took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheboygan Chiefs.

Kalkaska has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Cheboygan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Kalkaska will challenge Harbor Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harbor Springs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Kalkaska surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cheboygan, they have already played their next contest, a 69-61 victory against Sault Area on the 11th.
