Softball Recap: Pitkin Drops Highest Score of Season Against Elizabeth

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pitkin). They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Elizabeth Bulldogs on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Pitkin's win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13. As for Elizabeth, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pitkin Tigers face off against Fairview Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elizabeth, they will venture away from home to take on Anacoco at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
