Softball Recap: Elyria Pioneers vs. Sandusky Blue Streaks
Elyria can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Sandusky Blue Streaks 11-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pioneers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Grace Blazina spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and six unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
