Vail Christian took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Lamar, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Saints skirted past the Thunder 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Sam Bates had a dynamite game, getting 15 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches. Michelle Teague also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
