Southwood came tearing into Saturday's match with 18 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Southwood took both sets by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-7.

Shania Rhamy paced Southwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Rhamy got some help from Adi Deaton and her ten assists. Hali Pershing controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Southwood's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they dropped their record down to 8-19 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Southwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mississinewa on the 4th.
