Baseball Game Preview: Centaurus Warriors vs. Skyline Falcons

The Centaurus Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Skyline Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Centaurus lost 15-2 to Legacy on Tuesday.

Centaurus saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Pauletto, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Skyline challenged Horizon on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-1.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Centaurus, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Skyline's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Centaurus hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for Skyline, though, as they've only averaged .235. Will they be able to contain Centaurus' hitters?

Centaurus suffered a grim 12-6 defeat to Skyline when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
