Basketball Recap: Niles Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Niles Notre Dame and Deerfield squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Niles Notre Dame had to settle for second. They fell 42-34 to the Deerfield Warriors. The matchup was a 17-17 toss-up at halftime, but the Dons couldn't quite close it out.

Niles Notre Dame has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-16 record this season. Deerfield's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-7.

As of now, neither Niles Notre Dame nor Deerfield have any future games scheduled.
