Softball Recap: Deep Creek Hornets vs. Great Bridge Wildcats
Deep Creek hadn't done well against Great Bridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Hornets walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Wildcats. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Lilly B made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched.
