Football Recap: Cohoes Sets Scoring Season-High Against Coxsackie-Athens + How To Watch

Cohoes extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-10. They received a blow as they fell 32-16 to the Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks. On the bright side, the 16- point effort marked the Tigers' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Coxsackie-Athens, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 12-point performance the contest before.

Coxsackie-Athens' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rich Perino led the charge by picking up 148 receiving yards and three scores. Those 148 receiving yards gave Perino a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Tristan Canning, who threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.
