Basketball Recap: Osceola Bulldogs vs. Meridian Mustangs
The Osceola Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Meridian Mustangs with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Osceola breezed by the Mustangs on the road to the tune of 62-20 on Friday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Osceola has managed all season.
Kale Gustafson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Gustafson is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kelby Neujahr, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Osceola has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Meridian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Osceola will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meridian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.
