Baseball Recap: Sullivan Redskins vs. Okaw Valley Timberwolves
After flying high against St. Teresa last Saturday, Sullivan came back down to earth. The Sullivan Redskins took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Okaw Valley Timberwolves on Monday. Sullivan was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Okaw Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Jake Stewart was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Okaw Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

As for Okaw Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Neoga at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Okaw Valley will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
