Volleyball Recap: Chandler Prep Comes Up Short

Chandler Prep lost against Scottsdale Christian Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Titans came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-15.

Victoria Beltran-Vivian paced Chandler Prep's offense, picking up four kills. Beltran-Vivian got some help from Hannah Fox and her eight assists. Finally, Mikky Dunmar kept Chandler Prep's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Scottsdale Christian Academy was led to victory by Lucy Dickerson and Kaylee Howell. Dickerson had five digs and two aces, while Howell had six digs. What's more, Dickerson racked up six assists, the most she's had over her last nine matches.

Chandler Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-5.

Chandler Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Phoenix Country Day on the 30th. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Phoenix Christian on the 1st.
