Basketball Game Preview: Bucklin Red Aces vs. Attica Bulldogs

Two dominant guards in Emmy Kirk and Zoie Redgate are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Bucklin Red Aces will host the Attica Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Bucklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 57-37 margin over Kiowa County on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Red Aces have posted since March 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, Attica had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They took down the Cardinals 60-46.

Attica's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bucklin, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bucklin didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Attica in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.
