Wellsville beats Perry-Lecompton for their ninth straight win

The Wellsville Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Perry-Lecompton, posting a 48-6 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Wellsville, who have now won eight games by 28 points or more so far this season.
William Dorsey got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 286 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Kenyon Gillins was another key contributor, gaining 111 total yards and two touchdowns.
Wellsville's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.9 points. As for Perry-Lecompton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Wellsville will take on Holton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Perry-Lecompton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
