Softball Recap: Strawberry Crest Beats Gaither for Their Third Straight Victory

Strawberry Crest entered their tilt with Gaither on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 11-8. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

Lola Coole and Kennedy Shea did most of the damage at the plate: Coole scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Shea went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Shea has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Cater, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Strawberry Crest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Strawberry Crest's record is now 7-9. As for Gaither, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
