Football Recap: Reavis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thornton Fractional South last Friday, Reavis came back down to earth. The Rams were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 20-19 to the Shepard Astros. The Rams lost against the Astros in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 57-0 score last time.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Shepard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reavis is set to face off against their familiar foe Oak Lawn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shepard will square off against rival Blue Island Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
