Football Recap: Lake Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lake Buena Vista's offense. They were beaten by the East River Falcons 36-0 on Wednesday. The loss leaves the Vipers still looking for their first win of the season.

A big part of East River's win came down to the chemistry between Kadence Land and her top target Addison Riley. Land threw for 122 yards and four touchdowns while Riley picked up 77 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns gave Land a new career-high.

Lake Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Lake Buena Vista has already played their next contest, a 27-0 loss against Freedom on the 13th. East River will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
