West Hills had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Joey Hamilton sure wasn't going down easily. Hamilton tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, which was good enough to also set a new career-low in walks.

Even though Hamilton couldn't lead West Hills over Steele Canyon, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Hamilton's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wolf Pack's five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Hamilton and the Wolf Pack surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
