Cheyenne-Eagle Butte made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Little Wound, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves breezed by the Little Wound Mustangs to the tune of 69-38 on Thursday. The Braves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was led to victory by Suni Bowman and Dakotta Longbrake. Bowman dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds, while Longbrake went 5 of 8 en route to 13 points along with six assists and five boards. Longbrake is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Tommi Chasing Hawk was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive matches.
