Football Recap: King Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 44-14 loss at the hands of the St. Francis Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Spartans are ranked 23rd).

King's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Francis, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

As of now, neither King nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
