Basketball Recap: Forsyth Central Victorious

Forsyth Central posted their closest win since December 13, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 victory over the North Atlanta Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 35-33 back in December of 2024.

North Atlanta lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Quen Daniel, who posted 12 points along with five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Bryanna Carson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Forsyth Central's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for North Atlanta, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Forsyth Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-37 defeat against South Forsyth on the 27th. North Atlanta has also already played their next matchup, a 67-28 victory against Alpharetta on the 27th.
