The Comets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-60 victory over the St. Thomas More Sabers on Thursday with plenty of help from Chandler, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 26 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Clifton Central's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for St. Thomas More, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
