Baseball Recap: Chief Leschi Comes Up Short

Chief Leschi fell victim to Ilwaco and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Fishermen, falling 16-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Fishermen recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Chief Leschi's record now sits at 0-6. As for Ilwaco, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Fishermen beat Chief Leschi by a score of 22-0 later that day.
