Baseball Recap: West Jefferson Takes a Loss

West Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-6 to the North Fremont Huskies. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

West Jefferson's record now sits at 0-3. As for North Fremont, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, West Jefferson will take on Salmon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Savages have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for North Fremont, they will be taking part in a tournament against Glenns Ferry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Pilots have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
