Indio extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jonathan Castellanos. The Rajahs put the hurt on the Banning Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Castellanos, who had 13 digs and one assist. He has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times he's played.

Indio walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-17.

Indio pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Banning, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Indio wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Desert Hot Springs on the 10th. As for Banning, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Coachella Valley on the 9th.
