It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Middle Park had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wiggins Tigers as they made off with a 66-40 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 25 points or more this season.

Middle Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Paugh, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Paugh also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Joey Gagnon was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 10 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Middle Park, bringing their record for this year to 19-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Wiggins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Middle Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-45 loss against Highland on the 8th. Wiggins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
