Soccer Game Preview: Arvada West vs. Valor Christian

Arvada West is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will head out on the road to face off against the Valor Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Arvada West has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 23 goals over their last three matchups.

Last Monday, Arvada West got the win against Brighton by a conclusive 4-1. Gigi Grieve was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Valor Christian kept a clean sheet against Lutheran on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Valor Christian.

Arvada West's record is now 6-2. As for Valor Christian, their record now sits at 3-1-1.

Arvada West couldn't quite get it done against Valor Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
