Volleyball Recap: Washington Township Comes Up Short

Washington Township lost against West Lafayette back in August of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Senators took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils.

Aubrey Hreha paced Washington Township's offense, picking up six kills. Hreha got some help from Emma Goetschel and her six assists.

Washington Township's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for West Lafayette, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Washington Township wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kouts on the 23rd. As for West Lafayette, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Lafayette Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils are facing the Bronchos at the right time seeing as the Bronchos are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
