Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Comes Up Short

Kennedy Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rocky Grove Orioles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kennedy Catholic of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Kennedy Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rocky Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy Catholic will face off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rocky Grove, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
