Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan lost against Swanton back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Bears came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alea Shilling paced Bryan's offense, picking up nine kills. Shilling got some help from Jozie Cordy and her 24 assists. Cordy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Swanton, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Bryan has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Central Catholic on the 25th. As for Swanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Ottawa Hills on the 27th.
