Volleyball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

Randolph was the 2-0 winner over Lake Mills when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the L-Cats on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Lexie Zemlo paced Randolph's offense, picking up five kills. Zemlo got some help from Tessa Reed and her seven assists. Finally, Izabell Gorsuch kept Randolph's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Tayte Crenshaw, who had nine digs and two assists.

Randolph has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-20 record this season. As for Lake Mills, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-8.

Randolph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Beaver Dam on the 18th. As for Lake Mills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Parkview on the 18th.
